We are looking for a Software Developer who wants to work with mission-critical systems within the energy sector. You will develop application software for monitoring and controlling power grids, working in a stable and well-established codebase. The assignment is based at the customer’s site in central Västerås, with an on-site presence of at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements (non-negotiable)

• Strong skills in C# (alternatively, extremely high proficiency in Java)

• Experience working in large and established codebases

• Proficiency in version control using Git

• Registered for F-Tax (self-employed status)

• Valid professional liability insurance

• CV in Word format

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application software for monitoring and control of power grids

• Work within and improve an existing, business-critical codebase

• Ensure high code quality, reliability, and system stability

• Collaborate with developers and technical specialists in an experienced team

• Contribute to the long-term technical sustainability of systems that are essential to energy supply

Nice to have

• Experience from the energy sector, industrial systems, or other mission-critical environments

• Understanding of real-time systems, monitoring systems, or control systems

• Experience from long-term assignments in stable technical environments
