About the role:

As a Test Engineer at Astek, we give you the opportunity to work broadly within product development within the automotive industry. We match you with assignments with our customers that interest you. Through education and frequent conversations with our consultants, we prioritize your wishes for personal development and your individual goals within work. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of an agile development team. You will work with both test automation but also with ensuring the software. Here you have the chance to work with new platforms and see how entire systems work.

In your work, you will among other things:

• Develop and implement test cases to ensure quality

• Create and maintain automated test scripts

• Create new validation and verification methods

• Identify, document and report errors in the software to optimize the development process

• Work in development teams, closely with developers and test engineers to understand requirements and ensure the testing process

A few bulletpoints that we consider in the application:

• A Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in software engineer, mechatronics engineer or an equivalent education

• Good knowledge of one or more programming language such as : Python, C++ or Matlab/Simulink

• Good knowledge of test tools and frameworks

• Good understanding of software development and test automation

• Experience level considered 8-10 years at minimum.

• Experience in the automotive industry

• Driving license
